I could not recommend Moenkopi enough for your trip down the Grand Canyon. Everything we could ever think of was covered and organized by Moenkopi in the most convenient, organized, fun and friendly way. Staff is incredible. Brady is phenomenal. If I had three thumbs they would all be up for Moenkopi.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many boats will we need?

This is a question we get quite often. We typically recommend 5 - 18' oar rigs for a group of 16 people for 16 days ( 3 - 18' oar rigs for a group of 8 people, 16 days). Although it may be tempting to run a trip with less boats for simplicity, one of our main concerns when organizing a Door to Door trip is that we have enough hatch and cooler space for the food and equipment. Plus, rowing an overloaded boat for 2 - 3 weeks is no fun.

Can we rent the Riverhouse with our Door to Door rental?

We definitely recommend our vacation rental for your group if you're coming through Flagstaff before or after your trip. With room for up to 16, plus a huge garage to organize your gear, the seamless transition between river life and real life has never been so easy.

Can I still qualify as Door to Door if we're bringing our own boats?

We often have many groups who don't need a fully outfitted trip. No problem. However, to qualify for all of the free add-ons that come with this package, we have a minimum rental requirement of 4 oar rigs (2 oar rigs for 8 or fewer people) as well as food, kitchen, groovers, and shuttles.

We're happy to add on the Door to Door package to any partial rental for a flat rate of $500.

How do I sign up?

You can give us a call, send us an email, or fill out the estimate request form here on our website. Either way, it all comes right to our office, and we'll get you set up. We would simply need a 10% deposit to get your outfitting reserved. Please see our reservations / payments page to see how to make your deposit.
